Sambhali Trust: Empowering Women & Children

What does empowerment mean to you? The right to attend school? The ability to work and provide for yourself and your family? To be able to live a safe and fulfilling life? Or, the ability to travel across the world, alone?

Female empowerment, particularly through education and skill-building has always been a very important cause to me for very personal reasons. I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to spend a week in Jodhpur, India with Sambhali Trust, a UN-recognized organization which provides over 350 underprivileged Rajasthani women and girls with educational and vocational training each day.

Sambhali Trust is an inspiring reminder that we can all create opportunities and positive impact in our communities, and that success and empowerment comes in many forms.
